Why Give to the United Way

Imagine being homeless while your young children are trying to succeed in school. Or being on a fixed income and struggling to make ends meet, trying to decide how you’re going to eat decent meals and pay for your medications. Imagine getting a phone call from a frantic neighbor-your house is on fire, and you rush home to find everything is lost. These examples really happen to people in our Marshall County communities.

United Way is the most powerful way for us to work seamlessly together to make a real difference to help meet scores of local needs - helping children succeed in school, providing food and shelter to struggling families, giving assistance to help the elderly stay in their homes longer and countless other services.

We invite you to extend a hand to those in Marshall County communities who need assistance to meet life’s challenges. Let’s inspire hope and lay the groundwork for a brighter future. Together we can do incredible things.

We hope you will choose to make your tax-deductible investment in Marshall County. Like never before, we have the power to facilitate change. Your involvement is important; every dollar counts. Thank you so much.

Cornerstone Partners
This program underwrites United Way operating expenses. The goal is to ensure that 100% of every employee dollar goes directly to United Way agencies. Your designation of $1,000 or more to the Cornerstone program provides year-round recognition of your involvement. A simple note on your check or giving envelope assures inclusion as a 2018 Cornerstone Partner.
