TriShare for Employees

Ease the struggle of affording childcare. By participating in the TriShare Program, you pay ⅓ of the cost of childcare, while your employer and our team will cover the remaining ⅔

You select the best care provider for your child and schedule, ensuring they thrive in a supportive environment. This helps you excel in your career while knowing your child is receiving excellent care and opportunities for growth. The program covers a range of childcare from full-time and part-time traditional care, before and after school care, preschool, and summer camps. Your payment is collected by payroll deduction through your employer, so you never have to worry about forgetting a payment.

Eligibility

Fill out the application form if your employer participates. We require 2 most recent pay stubs from both the employee and partner/spouse (if applicable) OR the employee and spouse’s W2 forms for income verification.

2

Once approved, complete the payroll deduction process with your employer.

3

Inform us of who your childcare provider is. If you are unsure that your provider is participating in the program, let us know and we will reach out.

4

Fill out a care change form if you change your care days, hours, or childcare provider.

Yes, our program covers care for children aged 0-17.

As long as your new provider is still licensed in Indiana, you are still eligible. In the case that your new provider is not participating in the TriShare Program, we will attempt to onboard them.

Employers set additional eligibility criteria in accordance with their benefit packages. Part-time employees are not inherently excluded from the TriShare Program eligibility, this will be communicated by your employer.

Please visit the Early Learning Marketplace. Providers update the information there periodically.

You may still complete an application if you are expecting a child to need care soon. Once you complete the application there will be a profile for you in our system. Once you are ready for care, contact us and we will advance your application.

There are occasional circumstances where you may still qualify as an edge case. If you are near the income level guidelines then please reach out to trishare@marshallcountyuw.org for further discussion. Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate in the program if you fall significantly outside of the FPL. Please check the website periodically for any changes to eligibility. There are many federal and state programs that assist folks below the 150% poverty level.

Your employer will deduct the cost from your paycheck to cover your portion of childcare. You will not be personally billed.
